Guild Rules Empty Guild Rules

We want your experience in Eleventh Høur to be an exciting way to progress through the game. To help in our warcraft, guild members are expected to follow these rules:

Raid Expectations:

Sign up - Raid calendar posts are typically made several days in advance, and follow a Wed/Sun or Tues/Thurs schedule, depending in which raid team you are on. If more than 10 people sign up, spots will be given to the raid team members first, and then chosen based on group needs. Let one of the GMs (currently Elflynn and Baadashe) know if you really want/need a boss. The GMs will try their best to avoid sitting people out more than 1 night in a row if we have more than 10 people signing up consistently. If you are late, the GM or raid leader has the right to fill your spot - don't be late. If you sign up and can't make it (or have to be late for a legitimate reason), send a forum message or email Elflynn (lbe3f@virginia.edu). All raiders must be in mumble. We understand that real life often takes you away from wow for extended times. If you will be absent for 2 weeks or more, please let Elflynn know.

Raid preparation - Do not sign up for a raid unless you are willing to research the fights. The raid leader will post videos on the website a couple days before.

Raid leader - The Raid leader is in charge of explaining and leading the fights. Chatter in mumble between bosses is encouraged, but during boss fights, please let the raid leader lead. If you have suggestions or see something that we’re doing wrong, whisper the raid leader or ask in mumble if you can offer suggestions.

Loot rules - Raids will be run under a master loot system. This is for three reasons: 1.) to ensure there is dialogue between people who need the item for an upgrade; 2.) to ensure loot goes to main spec first; 3.) that the proceeds from non-needed items go back to the guild in the form of gold or enchanting mats. We work the master loot system as a linking process. Please see the loot rules post for more details.

Raid attitude - Come to raids to have fun. Don’t get discouraged or frustrated when we wipe on new content. Give compliments, tell jokes, and enjoy spending time with 9 other uber cool people.

Guild Bank Expectations (a.k.a. money laundering):

Authenticators - After a 30 day provisional period in the guild, members will be eligible for upgraded bank privileges IF they have an authenticator. After the provisional 30-day period, members are expected to contribute to guild bank contents (mats and/or gold) on a regular basis. Mats for flasks and fish feasts are most appreciated.

Usage - Mats are fair game – please use them for gear upgrades! If you see an abundance of mats, please craft blue items and place them back in the bank for Sophocles to put in the AH and earn us some cash.

Flasks are available for guild runs. Please be cognizant of how many flasks you are using, and limit your intake to a reasonable amount. Cauldrons will be provided during raid nights.

Repairs - We are currently testing the waters on how often guild repairs can be open. Currently, guild repairs are only to be used on raid progression nights. Repairs may be turned on at other times due to the mechanics of the system - please do not use them at any other time. Abuse of guild repairs may result in a reduction of guild privileges.

Enchants, gems, and other gear goodies - We have every profession covered within guild – utilize us! Check out the new guild tools for a list of who does what profession. Also note that you can check in the public notes for each character to see who that person is. Especially helpful for alts.

Forum Expectations:

All raiding members will utilize the forums. Read them and contribute.

Procedure for Disputes:

All disputes should be addressed to one of the GMs first and foremost. This includes, but is not limited to: being treated unfairly, not being respected, concerns on how the guild is being run, etc.

Failure to abide by Eleventh Høur's code of conduct will result in discipline. Perhaps being shackled like a converted hero.
